WEDDING | KIRKLINGTON PARK

T&P

Private estate weddings offer a rare opportunity to create celebrations that feel deeply personal, immersive and entirely tailored to the couple. Set within the Nottinghamshire countryside, Kirklington Park provided a beautiful and elegant setting for Tara & Paul’s wedding — a celebration defined by thoughtful planning, refined design and seamless guest experience.

We had the pleasure of planning, designing and producing Tara & Paul’s wedding, managing a multi-location day that flowed effortlessly from ceremony through to evening celebration, before concluding with a relaxed farewell brunch for those staying at the house.

Tara & Paul were married at the University of Oxford chapel, a setting rich in history and quiet grandeur. The ceremony felt timeless and intimate, framed by beautiful architecture and a sense of tradition. Tara arrived at the chapel in a Rolls-Royce, an understated yet elegant moment that set the tone for the day. Guests were transported smoothly between locations, with all logistics carefully managed by our team to ensure a calm and unhurried experience for everyone involved.

A DESIGN-LED PRIVATE ESTATE WEDDING AT KIRKLINGTON PARK

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed back to Kirklington Park for a drinks reception in the gardens. Champagne flowed as guests gathered on the lawns, enjoying the relaxed pace of a private estate setting and the sense of arriving “home” for the celebrations to continue.

The transition from ceremony to reception was carefully choreographed, allowing the afternoon to unfold naturally while maintaining momentum and atmosphere.

The design palette for Tara & Paul’s wedding was intentionally soft and timeless. Hues of blush pink, ivory and gentle whites were layered throughout the celebration, chosen to complement the existing tones of Kirklington Park and enhance the warmth of the house rather than compete with it.

A particular focus was placed on the tablescape design. Italian linens were imported specifically for the occasion, a detail that held personal significance for Tara due to her background and connections within the textiles world. The choice of fabric added depth and texture to the setting, elevating the dining experience while remaining understated and refined.

These considered design decisions allowed the interiors of the house to shine, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant, cohesive and entirely in keeping with the private estate setting.

As guests were invited inside for dinner, the atmosphere shifted into one of relaxed sophistication. Long tables dressed in Italian linens, soft candlelight and restrained floral styling created a setting that felt both welcoming and elevated.

Speeches were enjoyed thoroughly, with laughter and sentiment flowing easily throughout the evening. After dinner, the celebration transitioned naturally into cocktails and dancing, with guests filling the space late into the night. Music, movement and warm light brought the day to a joyful close — all unfolding with ease under our calm and attentive oversight.

Tara & Paul’s wedding at Kirklington Park was a celebration shaped by thoughtful design, seamless logistics and quiet luxury. From the historic chapel ceremony to the private estate reception and relaxed farewell brunch, every element was carefully planned to create an experience that felt effortless and deeply personal.

For couples dreaming of a private estate wedding that balances elegance, intimacy and a beautifully managed guest journey, we would be delighted to bring your vision to life.

“Bella immediately understood my vision for the wedding and was excellent throughout the planning process. I was particularly impressed by her attention to detail — which is so important when managing complex arrangements and yet surprisingly rare.

A standout moment for me was seeing the dining room before our guests arrived. I cried very happy tears — it was utterly perfect.
Bella has a wonderfully calming presence, which made such a difference throughout what can be a high-pressure process. On the day, everything ran seamlessly and every detail was beautifully executed. We wouldn’t have changed a single thing.”
