WEDDING | KIN HOUSE

K&A

There is an unmistakable charm to Kin House — a wedding venue where contemporary elegance meets timeless English character. With its sweeping lawns, honeyed stone façade and impeccably restored interiors, Kin House offers the perfect canvas for couples seeking a celebration that feels refined, personal and effortlessly atmospheric.

In May 2025, we had the privilege of planning, designing and producing a full wedding weekend for K & A. What unfolded was a romantic and meticulously curated Kin House wedding, where every moment flowed seamlessly into the next, each detail contributing to a cohesive and deeply immersive experience.

Our approach blends design-led thinking with intuitive planning and thoughtful collaboration. While we lead the wedding vision, we are supported by a carefully selected network of creative partners — florists, stylists, drapers, musicians and artisans — who share our commitment to quality and understand the elevated aesthetic our clients expect. Each supplier is chosen intentionally, matched to the couple and the creative direction to ensure the entire celebration is executed to the highest standard.

A Luxurious Spring Wedding at Kin House

From our earliest meetings, K & A envisioned an elegant English garden aesthetic — sophisticated and romantic, with soft spring florals, gentle colour harmonies and natural textures woven throughout.

Together, we developed a cohesive design story that would carry through the entire three-day celebration. Every detail was considered in context of the whole: the tone of the rehearsal dinner, the mood of the ceremony, the transformation from daylight to candlelight, and the fluid flow from one space to the next. This layered, holistic approach is at the heart of our work as a luxury UK wedding planner.

The weekend began with a beautifully styled rehearsal dinner in the Garden Room. Soft summer florals, understated table lamps and a warm glow of candlelight created an intimate, welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving at Kin House.

Earlier in the afternoon, everyone gathered in the Drawing Room for tea before dressing for the evening’s festivities. As the sun softened over the lawns, a champagne and roaming-band reception set the tone for what was to come. Dinner that evening felt refined and joyful — heartfelt family speeches, exquisite food and an unmistakable sense of anticipation filled the room.

As morning light filled the house, Kin House came alive with quiet purpose. While the bridal party enjoyed a relaxed morning of hair, makeup and laughter in the Dressing Room — and the groom’s party enjoyed clay pigeon shooting under the May sunshine — our creative team and trusted suppliers began shaping the wedding spaces.

Inside Kilvert Hall, the transformation unfolded with precision. We softened the room’s architectural grandeur with suspended draping, introduced sculptural olive trees underplanted with seasonal spring blooms, and dressed the tables in tactile linens in shades of lilac and blue. The effect was ethereal and romantic — a garden-like atmosphere brought indoors through thoughtful styling, layered textures and carefully curated details.

Kilvert Bar was also thoughtfully styled for the evening’s celebrations, with elegant poser tables, lounge seating and subtle floral touches that would come alive once the dancing began.

The ceremony took place on the sun-soaked lawn, where we designed a delicate floral meadow lining the aisle and a sculptural arch that framed the couple beautifully. Live musicians played as guests gathered, creating an atmosphere of serenity and anticipation.
K walked down the flower-lined aisle with a radiant smile, the spring florals moving gently in the breeze. The moment felt timeless — intimate, emotional, and a perfect reflection of the couple’s love.

As the newlyweds stepped away for portraits, our team began a carefully choreographed transformation. The ceremony florals — meadow and arch — were thoughtfully repurposed to enhance the evening spaces. They became lush underplanting for olive trees, abundant styling around the top table, and floral framing for the band stage in Kilvert Bar.

This approach reflects our commitment to both sustainability and design continuity. Working alongside creative partners who share this philosophy allows us to elevate each moment while ensuring the aesthetic remains cohesive from ceremony to celebration.

When guests stepped into Kilvert Hall for the wedding breakfast, they entered a room that felt both grand and intimate. Natural daylight intertwined with the soft glow of candlelight, illuminating cascading florals and elegant tablescapes in soothing spring hues. The atmosphere was romantic, elevated and unmistakably Kin House. Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated seasonal menu paired with wines selected for depth and harmony. Heartfelt speeches filled the room with laughter and emotion, creating a true sense of togetherness.

As the sun set, the celebration flowed effortlessly into Kilvert Bar. Espresso Martinis and signature cocktails greeted guests, while the live band — framed by repurposed ceremony florals — filled the space with energy. The dance floor remained full until the final song, the room alive with movement, light and joy. Every element worked in harmony, from the lighting to the styling, a testament to the collaborative artistry between our planning team and the trusted suppliers who help us bring such moments to life.

K & A’s wedding weekend was a celebration shaped by thoughtful design, seamless planning and meaningful collaboration. From the elegant rehearsal dinner to the exuberant final dance, every detail was crafted with intention — creating an atmosphere that felt refined, romantic and unforgettable.

For couples dreaming of a Kin House wedding that blends creative vision, elevated styling and a flawlessly executed guest experience, we would be delighted to bring your celebration to life.

"Bella and her team at Isabella Rose made our wedding visions come true. From the moment we engaged Bella as our wedding planner she was nothing short of brilliant.

Her expertise were extremely valuable during the planning stages - from providing experienced advice on the pros/cons of venues, to putting forward quality supplier recommendations and attending all venue/supplier meetings. Bella remained focused on ensuring the planning was as smooth and pain free as possible - taking on the burden of managing contracts, sourcing options, designing vision boards and sorting out the administration of all stationary.

During the run up to the wedding Bella and her team ensured all fires were extinguished, updated us at regular intervals and made sure we had nothing to be concerned about.

On the wedding weekend itself Bella and her team were fantastic - from the moment they arrived on site we were completely confident in their ability to pull off the wedding of our dreams. There was always someone from the team reachable to answer our many questions and requests - the whole team were approachable, professional, kind and extremely organised.

The weekend was everything we dreamed off and more - this is undoubtedly due to the Isabella Rose team - even if there was an issue we didn’t know about it as the team managed everything with calm and grace.

Massive thank you to Bella and the team for the guidance, commitment, passion, creativity and energy you put into our wedding planning and weekend itself."
